    You are bidding on a very nice bookend that commemorates Charles Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis flight over the Atlantic. It is cast iron with brass/bronze highlights, weighs over 3 1/2 pounds, and measures 6 1/2" wide by 4 7/8" high. The plane is 3-D as are the waves. "Lindy" is inscribed just above the Spirit of St. Louis. This is a very wonderful tribute to the man who risked everything to make the first solo flight across the Atlantic.
