    1942 Great Britain George VI Silver Florin/2 Shillings Silver Coin.
    This Coin has been in storage for many years/decades. I’ve had it about 35 years and the previous owner got it in Great Britain. I can pet much track his military career by the coins I bought from him, most are brilliant white, obviously gotten new and stored in a coin flip quickly.
    That said I’ve looked for signs of wear on this Coin, I don’t see any so like the rest of his assortment I’m calling it MS/BU. I’ve seen that grade given to dirty, poorly toned coins many times. This is the first time I’ve experienced it. It’s gun metal grey, it has dirt on it, almost like he dropped it in the mud then put it in the coin flip? Your guess is as good as mine.
