Obverse depicts coroneted bust draped and veiled with T. B. below truncation - Sir Thomas Brock’s initials.
The reverse shows three shields in the form of a trefoil within the Garter - bearing three lions passant guardant in pale for England, the lion rampant within a double tressure flori, couter-flori for Scotland and a 9 stringed harp with a nude female figure in semi-profile with elevated wings which is joined to a foliated scroll for Ireland designed by Sir Edward Poynter. Within the Garter and between two sceptres a rose, shamrock and thistle are displayed.
The crown above, and the date below are divided by the Garter buckle.
